믹키 {Micky} ; Yoochun, you started out as the member of DBSK I didn’t like, couldn’t relate to. I judged you based on your voice, your appearance, your name… not your heart, and now I realize I’m completely wrong. You’re charismatic, genteel, and great all-around, yet you can be one of the biggest - yet still handsome… except for that one time SM had to censor your face because it would make you too beautiful - trolls in history. And your voice, now I truly appreciate how long and stalwartly you can hold notes when singing – Love in the Ice is just one example among countless others – and the way you rap, how you can hold and show your emotions via words.
A lyricist, a singer, a member of the legendary DBSK, an actor, a brother, an inspiration, on stage you are Micky, but always to me, you are Park Yoochun, the man who stands strong despite all the travesties you face. I apologize for the way I’ve judged you before knowing you and your story.
Your birthday holds a special meaning to me – yours is the first I went through as a Cassie last year. Although I did not celebrate as I do now, I did wish you a happy birthday, but I feel that was not enough, so here’s to an even better year and cheers. You’ll persevere, I promise, you’ll see it through. Though you may be hurting now, I know you’ll stay strong for Junsu and Jaejoong, and others as well.
